Through the Investment in Character Campaign, The Mid-America Council supports over 6,100 volunteers who develop and enrich the lives of more than 21,500 youth, ages 6 through 20 from 58 counties in Nebaraska and Iowa. The council provides numerous benefits to all of our your and adult volunteers, including:
The best camps, activities and programs
Professional guidance and support that mobilizes several hundred volunteers in our immediate area who work with more of the children in our community
Training for adult leaders.Investment in Character Campaign provides these benefits and many more to our children, as well as numerous at risk youth. Scouting is a wonderful investment in our children. It is a fact that boys with scouting background, especially boys that achieve Eagle Scout Rank receive more college scholarships and are more successful in the application process.
Please mark your calendars to attend the meeting, Monday, June 6th!
